Hi There @PixiePeeMagic
Thanks for writing in! I'm sorry to hear that you're having this issue. If you're on a shared hosting environment, the server load also one factor for slowing down sites. In that case, upgrading hosting plan will increase speed.
You can use a tool like Google Insights (https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/) or an advanced tool like Light house (https://developers.google.com/web/tools/lighthouse/) to analyze your sites.
We also have a separate guide on how to increase your site performance (https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/customizations-performance/210), please review it and implement accordingly.
Further, you can install the following plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-serverinfo/) and check your server configurations. We recommend PHP v5.6.x or later and memory limit of 512MB. You can contact your hosting provider to update your PHP version. You can see some benchmark results from here (https://www.cloudways.com/blog/wordpress-performance-on-php-versions/). Also to update memory limit, try following our guide here (https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/troubleshooting-increasing-php-memory-limit/16935). Please note that some of hosting providers not allowed to increase memory limit manually.
Let us know how it goes.
