Wrong sidebars showing up in blog posts

Hi there,

We have a few sidebars which were made according to the blog category they belong to. We’re experiencing an issue with the category “Childbirth”, where it doesn’t display the topmost CTA once a specific post from the “Childbirth” category is selected (blog post example), but once the category itself is opened, then we see the correct sidebar.

We’re also attaching images of the CTAs in question.

Hi @INcroatia,

Thank you for reaching out to us. If you assign a sidebar to a category then please note that it’s only restricted to a category page and not for the posts of that category. Either you need to individually assign the sidebar to the posts or custom development is required to achieve what you’ve in mind which is regretfully outside the scope of support we can offer.

With that being said I can point you to a thread that you can follow to implement this: Sidebar not showing on specific category posts

Please note that the code provided in the above thread serves as a guide only and is to help you in getting started so implementing it and maintaining the code will be out of our support scope and for further maintenance for new possible versions of the theme that may cause the customization to break, you will need to hire a developer.

Hi Nabeel,

The individual blog posts have been assigned to their corresponding sidebar since the beginning, and everything is showing up correctly on all other categories EXCEPT for “Childbirth” and we can’t figure out why. We’d like to know what went wrong with that specific category, if possible.
