WP Page Builder Not Loading

Hi there,

I was notified by a user that they’re unable to select tabs and when they click them nothing happens. This can be seen here: https://www.eliminationdietmealplan.com/approved-food-lists/

I updated the Theme and all plugins hoping this would resolve the issue, however its still occurring. I then tried to load the page using the “Edit with WP Page Builder” from the top menu. The page redirects, however it does not load (basically a white screen with the WP builder logo in the center).

I will send user credentials in a follow up message as this site uses Memberpress to manage user access.

Thanks!

Hello @mobrienj,

Thanks for writing in! I have investigated your issue and I found out that it is because you have inserted a custom JS code in Cornerstone > Theme Options > JS which is incorrect.

You should not be inserting the JS code in that place. It is only for a custom javascript and not a Facebook Pixel Code. I would highly recommend that you install the 3rd party plugin, Insert Headers and Footers plugin where you can safely place the JS code without affecting the theme’s builder.

  m=s.getElementsByTagName(o)[0];a.async=1;a.src=g;m.parentNode.insertBefore(a,m)

Hi Ruenel,

Thank you for your reply and recommendation. I have deleted this JS from the Theme Options page, however the two issues that I had previously noted are still present. Please advise.

Hello @mobrienj,

Please clear your browser cache or use private browsing mode and test your site again. At the moment, I can no longer replicate your issue.

1.) I can click on the tabs on the page:

2.) And I can edit the page with the WPBakery Page Builder as well.

Kindly let us know how it goes.

Hi @ruenel

I’m confused as I tried clearing my browser cache and using incognito mode and I’m still seeing the same errors (tabs not opening and WP Bakery not loading). See attached image.

I then tried loading the site on a different computer and on my phone and got the same result. I also tried using Firefox opposed to Chrome and that didn’t work either.

Is there something else that I’m missing?

Hello @mobrienj,

Can you please use the “Backend Editor”? What browser are you using by the way? Please try using MS Edge, Brave or Chrome.

Kindly let us know how it goes.

Hello @ruenel ,

Nothing happens when I select the “Backend Editor” button from the WordPress dashboard. When I select the “Edit with WP Bakery Page Builder” option when viewing the page it doesn’t load either. This is when I get the white screen as shown in the first attachment that I sent. I am using Chrome and have also tested it with Firefox. I will download MS edge and Brave to see if it responds any different.

@ruenel

I just tried it with Brave and got the same response.

Hi @ruenel ,

I’m finding other issues within the website. Masonry media grid elements are not longer loading on this page. https://www.eliminationdietmealplan.com/recipes

I really need you help in resolving this as soon as possible.

Thanks!

Hello @mobrienj,

I am using MS Edge and this is what my browser screen with your site in it.

Have you installed a browser extension? That’s the only thing I could think of that will cause some issues on your end.

Best Regards.

Hi @ruenel,

I just installed MS Edge and I’m having the same issues (I tried to attach a video to show you but got this message - “Sorry, the file you are trying to upload is not authorized (authorized extensions: jpg, jpeg, png, gif)”

I’ve tested the site on 3 different computers and 2 different phones and get the same result. There was also the website user that initially contacted us to report the problem. I don’t know how it’s loading on your side, but it seems to be isolated.

Can you consult with one of your colleagues to see if they are able to open tabs or access the WP Bakery Editor? Are you able to load the page within Chrome or just MS Edge?

I just found that the masonry blocks are displaying when I decrease the window size, so I’m guessing this is related to some type of CSS issue.

@ruenel

I noticed a few errors within the console when trying to load WP Bakery (see attached).

Hey @mobrienj,

The tabs and WPBakery Editor works on my end too (see secure note).

What could be happening on your end is a network issue. Your website’s Javascript files that are needed for the tabs and editor to function might have been blocked by an unknown factor. It could be your ISP or something related to your network.

Regretfully, we can do nothing for this case as this is not an issue with our theme nor WPBakery. I’d recommend you consult with an IT professional that is close to you or within your location.

Thank you for understanding.
