Wordpress Login issues?

I have themeco PRO installed on a new site on HostGator. The php is updated to 7.something, had them empty the server cache, have most recent Wordpress and all plugins are updated.

The issue is, now that I want to make a site, if on the Admin panel I click on the PRO settings of “header” etc, I am taken to a login page with the choice to login via Wordpress or enter name and password. Either way (and I click “remember me”-FYI), I am back to the Admin panel, and the cycle repeats.

It does not allow me do anything, I am constantly put back to the login process. I have gone to Users and edited my admin password (generated a new password) and that didn’t help either.

Thank you for writing in, did you just installed an SSL certificate recently? because that issue commonly happens after the migration to https from http.

Please check your WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) under Settings > General, if those addresses are still in http then that is the issue, if that is the case then follow the solution provided here.

Remember to clear all your caching features (plugin, server-side, CDN, and browser’s cache) after, this will help you to avoid any potential errors.
