Weird bug causing 2 issues: Click-to-scroll on section click doesn't work in workspace and counter element animation doesn't trigger on live site

I’ve tried clearing cache, and all the things. It’s been ongoing for over a year now, but noticing the number animation not triggering is what caused me to write in. Does anyone know what would cause that?

  1. Issue #1 - Clicking on “section” item on the editor doesn’t scroll to it in the viewer
  • Expected behaviour: cornerstone outline sections > click on section > workspace scrolls to clicked section (or even element)
  • Actual behaviour: workspace does not scroll
  1. Issue #2 - Counter element triggered on page scroll (scroll in, I’m assuming), not working on frontend
  • Expected behaviour: Should work on workspace and front end.
  • Actual behaviour: workspace create/edit, works as expected. Front end does not trigger or work.

Hey @Jonson,

Kindly share the page that is having the issue. Additionally, answer the questions below.

#1 What element should we click and what section should it land to?

Hello Christian, I just added secure note to the conerstone homepage builder, with email/password and 2fa temporary bypass.

The sections -> any section. Blogs, YouTube, Support, Humanitarian, etc, any of them when clicked, do not scroll. This is a sitewide problem for me unfortunately. None of the other sites do this, except this one

Hello Jon,

I have logged in to your site and was able to replicate the issue. This is not happening on all our local testing servers. This must be happening only on this site. A 3rd party plugin or a JS code may be causing this issue. We recommend that you clone this site to a staging area so that we can continue the troubleshooting in the staging area. Check out this guide to know more about how to clone a site to a staging area: https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-create-staging-environment-for-a-wordpress-site/

Best Regards.
