Upgrading from X to Pro


I’m in the process of upgrading a site from X to Pro and have run into an error. If I provide the log-in details is this something you can help with as I’m a little perplexed by this one.

What was the process you took in upgrading X to Pro as there might be something that you have missed that caused the issue.

I wanted to add here that it is possible this could happen if Pro was not fully installed (files missing), or if an older version of the Cornerstone plugin was active. This is likely because we just released new versions this week. The articles linked above will give step by step instructions, but here are some quick hits that would help:

  • Switch to one of the WordPress default themes
  • Deactivate Cornerstone
  • Upload Pro via the WordPress theme uploader
  • Activate Pro.
