Toggle Hash Feature Missing

Upgraded from X-Theme to Pro 3.2.3 thinking I was missing some custom element features & was not :frowning:

Needing to use the “toggle hash” feature for navigation modal. I have changed every option within modal & it still does not appear. Screen shot on top is my panel & below that is instructions for X-theme showing the Toggle Hash feature.

Someone help me find why this feature is gone?

Hi @6stringlove,

For navigation modal we have new feature toggled attributes instead as you can see above on your first screenshot: TOGGLE CUSTOM ATTRIBUTES and MODAL CUSTOM ATTRIBUTES. Instead of a predefined data-x-toggle-hash, this new features allows you to add your custom attributes for both toggle and modal. You can also add more than one.

Hope this helps.

Ok so what I am trying to do is have a clickable link in the top navigation menu that opens the navigation modal toggle open that is also in the footer area of page.

Essentially an anchor link to the toggle open navigation modal.

Any documentation how to do this? I’ve tried using “Class” CSS link in Wordpress menu to a class applied to toggle on page but did not work.

Thank you for your response.

Hello @6stringlove,

You will need to add a “Toggle Hash”, for example, my-modal and then in your navigation menu item, the href or link will be #my-modal. Clicking on the menu item will open the modal element.

Kindly check out this threads:

Hope this helps.

Thank you!

The “content modal” doesn’t have the Toggle Hash feature switched to “navigation modal” and was able to create the class.

Glad you sorted things out,

Cheers!
