Text problems in Internet Explorer

Hello,

I searched the forum and tried some solutions but they didn’t work for me.
I’m having some issues in Internet Explorer on this page: https://www.jktimmerwerken.nl/offerte/

First problem is that the text runs trough the image.
Second problem is the text in the footer that’s showing up very narrow.

Can you please take a look and help me out?

Thanks a lot!

Hi @fr4nkovic,

I can’t seem to replicate the issue you have mentioned.

Would you mind providing more details what version of IE you are using and on what platform (windows/mac)?

Thank you.

Hello Jade,

Internet Explorer 11 and Windows.

This is an example of the problem

Hi @fr4nkovic,

Try setting your text element’s width to 100%

Thanks,

Hi,

I tried it in the row and in the column but doesn’t do the trick.
I wil send you a secure note.

Hello @fr4nkovic,

Thanks for providing the information. To resolve your issue, please edit your “Demo: Contact Address” global block. In the row settings, since the global container is turned OFF, you will have to set a width and the maximum width as shown below:

Please set both the widths to 100%.

We would love to know if this has worked for you. Thank you.

Hello,

I tried but unfortunately it did not solve the problem.
Any other suggestions?

Just before I left the office I was trying some solutions.

I turned [ display: flex ] off in the inspector of Internet Explorer and that solved the problem.
This was from [ .e96-5.x-col ]

How could I fix this in CSS?

I changed the CSS of [ .e96-5.x-col ] to [ display: inline ] and now it’s fixed.
Is this the right way?

I still have one more problem:

[ .e100-17.x-col ] and [align-items: flex-start ] seem to be the ‘problem’

Can you help me with this one?

Hi @fr4nkovic,

Did you intentionally hide your site on IE? I can’t view your site on IE11 now, I even reset my IE settings to default to make sure it’s not on my end.

It is showing on my other browsers (Chrome, Firefox)

Did you try settings your Text elements width to 100% as I suggested above? not the width of Row nor Column.

And try some other IE11 fix I provided here.

Cheers!
