Smooth Scroll... not smooth at all

Hello,

The plugin Smooth scrool is not functionning properly and when I’m scrolling my website, it’s jerky / not fluid at all…

I already try to reinstall the plugin but the problem persists

We do have notice that it’s good using scroll bar and yes when mouse wheel is use, the content is not as smooth. Although, I can’t duplicate the error on my test site. Would it be possible to test for a plugin conflict first? If you do have a staging site, please try it there. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

I deactivated all the plugins except Cornerstone and Smooth Scrool and the problem persists

Sorry that you’re having that issue, it seems to be a new feature of Chrome is breaking the nicescroll.js. I’ve submitted this to our issue tracker so the developers will be made aware of it.

Treat Document Level Wheel/Mousewheel Event Listeners as Passive
Chrome 73 breaks wheel events

For now, I advise to turn off the Smooth Scroll until a fix is release. You can check our Changelog page when we release an update to see if a fix for this is included.
