Purpose: On our website, we (me and some professors) provide one of the most compound scientific personality tests in order to support individuals to find out what is truly important to them and to align their actions with that. The test is for free.

Over the Summer, we redeveloped our own agency’s site. We did stick with version 4 of X Theme for now, but have begun working in X Pro on any new sites.

We actually have a ton of plugins on our site, but the Image Map Cornerstone plugin is by far my favorite!

About the Project:
We’ve been using the X theme for 3 years, and this is our 1st website built with the Pro Theme (which is OUTSTANDING by the way…as far as Wordpress theme capabilities are concerned, it’s like asking for a car and getting a spaceship.

Here is our new site design for Just City, a non profit agency that’s at the forefront of criminal justice reform in Memphis, TN. We worked with this outstanding organization to redesign their website and tell their story.

We developed a new online home that paints a clearer picture of what Just City does, and shows how vital their services are to the Memphis community. We made their services and contact information more visible, as well as the incredible stats/results they’ve created in just a short 2 years.

We use ConvertPlus on almost all of our client websites. ConvertPlus enabled us to make list building one of the top priorities of the new Just City site, with links to subscribe in the header and at the bottom of each page (we believe in using less intrusive pop-ups, so the email signup form also appears upon the viewer’s intent to exit the site).

We took full advantage of Pro theme’s custom header and footer feature and responsiveness.

This is my photography business website, updated from Joomla to Wordpress. It’s been a labour of love since January of this year, a few hours here and there when I’ve had the chance. Loving Wordpress, wish I’d gone that route years ago, loving it even more with ‘X’ and ‘Pro’. Looking forward to using the ‘Pro’ theme more in my other business, website design.

This is the best theme I have ever used and believe me I have tried them loads of them.

Notes: My site is about me and my SEO work. The goal is something good looking with the possibility to broadcast my experience and skills. I used the convert plug for pop-ups as well as the Facebook plugin for integrated comments. It’s theme that allows for so much customization that I don’t see myself using any other theme in the future.

    Notes: This site is pretty dang big (50-75+pages) and the design was led by another group, who provided me with psd files that I eventually converted into this site. While much of it is straightforward, the ubermenu integration and the “Where does it hurt” model on the homepage were a little tricky. The client required that users toggle between the front and back view without the page refreshing and, to get there (at least not without having to customize another tool or build something from scratch), I was eventually able to marry shortcode generated with the Image Map HotSpot plugin with Slider Revolution to make that work.

Barb, I was sold on your site as soon as I saw a photo containing dogs. I loved being able to see all of the photos and the ones on the litters page made my heart melt.

Notes: The Prolific Reader (TPR) came about as the result of a cross-promotion that was supporting hundreds of indie authors. Its goal is to bring readers and authors together. TPR only contains ebooks that are free for a reader to download, which means this is a great way to try new authors and genres.

There are approximately 470 ebooks in 27 genres, a far cry from its humble beginnings of 70 books in five genres.

I’m not a developer, but I’m a fast learner, and boy what a learning curve this has been!
