Shop product filter

Hi!

I need to create a product filter for books. A visual filter function on the shop index page, would be ideal. I need 3 main categories och 2 level sub catergories below each. Is the easiest way to use the Woo Commerce Product Filter plugin or can I achieve this in Pro without an extra plugin? All I want is for the customer to see all categories at once and be able to navigate down to for example Cambridge > Primary > English and see all the Cambridge English books for Primary level show up.

Hello @Lobsterass,

Thanks for writing in! You do not need a plugin for that. Simply insert the Product Categories Widget to your sidebar which you can in Appearance > Widgets.

If you have use a custom shop index which you might have created using the Layout Builder, you can edit that layout to add a sidebar using the Widget Area element.
