I’m working on using the Layout Builder to build a Search Results page and am wondering how I can have a short snippet of the page content appear with each looped result.
Using ‘Excerpt’ works, but not all of my pages/posts have them defined.
If I use ‘The Content’ it displays the entire page.

Thanks for writing in!
Please be advised that “Excerpts” are only available in the Posts format. It is not available for Pages by default. WordPress has disabled it. You may need to activate the excerpts for the Pages. Please check out this thread instead:
