Page content not showing in Cornerstone, but shows on the frontend

Hi,

I’m starting on a new site and somehow yesterday, something happened that made the content of the page not show up at all in Cornerstone. However, it shows up right on the frontend of the staging site. I can’t figure out what is wrong…I’ve checked and double checked my CSS and code. And I disabled all plug-ins and the problem persisted. Hoping you can help. I 'm adding the sign in credentials to the Secure Note.

Thanks,
Jen

Hello Jen,

Thanks for posting in! I can replicate the issue on my end. I can edit/create a header, footer, or layout. Only when creating/editing a page, the builder does not display any preview. We cannot replicate this issue on our testing server, though. Could you please increase your PHP Max Upload Filesize? You can check this out in your Tools > Site Health > Info > Server. You may want to check this out:

You may need to ask your hosting provider for further assistance in changing these values on your server.

Kindly let us know how it goes.

Hi,
Thanks. I will try increasing the PHP. I should have specified that it is the home page that is not showing properly in Cornerstone. Did you look at that one specifically?

Thanks,
Jen

Hey Jen,

Yes, I looked into the homepage. I even created another test page, and with pages, the builder does not seem to display anything.

Let us know if the PHP max upload filesize is already been increased, and we can continue troubleshooting.

Thanks.

Hi,

It took me a few days to get back around to this. The PHP max size has been increased now and the problem is still there. Let me know what we should try next.

Thanks,
Jen

Hi Jen,

After a thorough investigation, I found that the Mega Menu in your Header is the reason behind your problem. At the same time, removing or hiding the Mega Menu, the content starts coming in the Cornerstone. It seems that the Text element with the {{dc:post:the_content}} is creating the problem. Can you please check the shortcuts and the content added to them?
Please remember that content-related issues are beyond the scope of Theme Support. I would suggest you hire a developer who can assist you in doing the customization, or you can avail of our service called One, where we answer the questions beyond normal theme support.

Thanks

Thanks! Not sure why that was wonking things up since I used the same thing in the lower round icon buttons. But, don’t need that up in the header…was using as a placeholder.

Hi Jen,

Glad that we are able to help you. Please let us know if you need any further assistance with this.

Thanks
