Ninja Forms Not Appearing on left dashboard

I believe that’s due to the Wordfence plugin. I have deactivated it.

Hi @ppe29,

Unfortunately, your website Admin URL is still not accessible and showing a 503 error. It seems that there might be an IP restriction implemented on your site, we are not able to access your website to examine. As we are from different parts of the World and most of us have a dynamic IP we can’t provide a specific IP address for whitelisting too.
I would suggest you remove the IP(s) restrictions let us know for further investigation.

Thanks

OK, @tristup. I have removed the India block and have disabled the wordfence plugin on both the live and staging sites. See if that helps you gain access please. And, as always, I appreciate your patience with me. Thanks

Hello @ppe29,

I tried to access your site dashboard but the login details are not working on my end. Please recheck and send us again.

Thanks

So sorry about all this back n forth. I figured out why the password didn’t work - it was b/c when you clicked on the staging link it actually rolled over to the live site because when I made the staging site I didn’t change the database name. That is now done. I’m beyond happy that I was able to figure that part out. So now that I have done that, please try again using the same user name and password, and again, I appreciate your patience with me.

Hey @ppe29,

I’ve switched to the default WordPress theme and still the NinjaForms menu isn’t available on the left or in the WP Admin menus.

That simply means the issue is not with our theme but with your specific site. Please reach out to NinjaForms support and tell them that the plugin setting is not available even using the default WordPress theme.

BEFORE reporting an issue to us, please kindly do ALL of the troubleshooting steps listed in our article here https://theme.co/docs/common-issues. That is to isolate what factor is causing the issue thus saving time for both the customer and the support team.

Thanks you.

I have finally resolved this issue! While I apologize for seemingly wasting your time asking for help, please understand that plugins and theme developers always say, “It’s not us, it’s them”, and it takes research and confirmation from the theme developer first before plugin developers will look into your matter seriously, even when you have PRO lifetime memberships to both services. We’re just the middleman who has to mediate between the 2 parties.

That said, once I was able to show them that the X theme developers were sure it wasn’t them and could prove it, they asked me to assure I was using WP 5.7 or higher and PHP 7.4 or higher, which I was.

To help anyone else who may have this problem in the future, they then said that I needed to add the latest version of Ninja (3.6.9) from here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/ninja-forms/ and then also add their legacy version from here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/ninja-forms-legacy/

Once they are both activated, FORMS appears on the left side dashboard and then from there you have to upgrade to the 3 codebase, which was easy to do with the instructions found here: https://ninjaforms.com/docs/conversion/

Please thank your colleagues for their patience with me while I troubleshooted this complex issue.

Hey @ppe29,

We’re glad that you’re able to figure it out! If you have any other concerns or clarifications regarding our theme features, feel free to open up a new thread.

Thank you.
