I’ve tried several codes from the forum to make our top bar static but none of them have worked correctly. The top bar needs to be static for desktop and mobile.

Thanks for writing in! We do have a setting in the theme options to have a Fixed Top or Static navbar. You can do it in X > Theme Options > Header > Navbar Position. This setting does not include the topbar. If you want the topbar to be fixed as well, you will have to modify the masthead of your site. Please check out these following threads:
