After attempting multiple ways, this work.
And apparently we were missing the a character in the custom CSS code, after .border_headline
.border_headline a {
color: rgb(255, 255, 255);
}
.
<a href="http://My-Link.com/">My-Header-Here</a>
order_headline to custom headline’s Class input field.
Please confirm if this setting is ok and reliable, or if I should modify in any better way.

Yes, you got it right.
The class is only applied to the heading element and the link is wrapped in the <a>
tag so you will have to reference the class element and the a tag in the CSS.
