Inserting Global Block

Hi,
I am unable to insert search box or a global block at the top-right corner of my homepage. The site is based on the “Lawyer” site template of X. There used to be a global block of address on the top-right corner - which I deleted earlier. But now I would like to insert a Search Box there. But i can neither insert a Search Box nor a Global Block there - no matter how hard I try to drag them from the Elements section of Cornerstone. I also tried to add a Global Block in both “Contact Address” and “Contact Info” global blocks respectively. But it’s not working. I am confused. How can I do this? How can I add a Search Box at the top-right corner of all pages?? Please check my site if you need to (see the url in secure note).

The block of address added to the top right of the Law template was inserted in X > Theme Options > Headers > Miscellaneous > Topbar Content. You are only allowed to insert plain text which is why this is the default address:

You cannot insert a shortcode in the topbar content by default which is why your global block shortcode does not work and displays only plain text. If you want to run the shortcode, you can check this thread first:

Hi ruenel,
I tried the solution given in the other thread you pointed me to. It works, but not exactly the way I want it to. It does allow me to add a shortcode in the topbar, but not in the top-right corner. It adds the shortcode global block right above the menu bar and pushes the menu bar down. That’s not what I want. I want to add the search shortcode in a way so that it appears on the top-right corner horizontally on the same level / height with the menu bar - just on the opposite corner of the page and without disturbing the position of the menu bar. That’s not happening. What can I do?
