How to make Portfolio main page Masonry instead of rows

This is driving me nutty… I’ve done this before (have a working model of it) but for some reason can’t seem to figure out how I pulled it off before.

The PORTFOLIO blog-roll page (main portfolio page) is currently listing like this (one item per row):

[ Porfolio item #1 ]

[ Porfolio item #2 ]

[ Porfolio item #3 ]

[ Porfolio item #4 ]

[ Porfolio item #5 ]

I want them to list in MASONRY format
[ Porfolio item #1 ] | [ Porfolio item #2 ] | [ Porfolio item #3 ]
[ Porfolio item #4 ] | [ Porfolio item #5 ]

Is it a Child Theme change or Functions.php addition or ???

It’s not a setting I’m finding, like the blog post page.

HELP!

Thank you!

Hello Robert,

Thanks for writing in!

By default once you set a page as Portfolio page then it will display in a Masonry Layout. However, please make sure that you select the more then one column so that the Masonry Layout is in effect.

Thanks.

Thanks for the reply Prasant.

I don’t have a page for Portfolio so I can’t edit the layout. Is there a way to make all “post” type pages Masonry by default? Because my archive pages all seem to have the same issue as well (standard layout instead of Masonry).

Hi Robert,

Please navigate to Theme Options > Blog and set the STYLE to Masonry on both Blog and Archives

Hope it helps,
Cheers!

That was it. It was the “archives” setting that I missed. Thank you!!! That did the trick!!!

We are delighted to assist you with this.

Cheers!
