Hi,
I had a glitch affecting my menu, that I seem to have solved but now my permalink has changed. I had set it to domain/category/year/title -> the categories are our-stories and news. Before the archive page was domain/news now it is domain/category/news. So it doesn’t seem that the permalink is recognising that news is a category. Can you give me advice to fix it?

The domain/category/category-name format has long been the WordPress default structure. This indicates that you are viewing a category archive. It goes the same with the tag, year, month and author archive page. If you wish to removed category, this link might help you:
