How to add Google Adwords tag to Header/Footer

Hello - I am trying to set up google adwords and google support has provided code for me to add to my header/footer. They have suggested adding a plug-in, etc., but I am hoping there is a way to do this without adding plugins.

Can you tell me how to do this with X? I assume with so many X theme sites out there, plenty have used Google Adwords.

If you are going to add any script in your footer or header. I suggest that you will use the Insert Headers and Footers plugin. To know more about the plugin, please check this out.
