Getting error when cornerstone builder loading

Hello,

I am getting the same error now also, also i check with the host team about the SSL certificate. The SSL certificate is properly Configured, there no issue with SSL https://www.sslshopper.com/ssl-checker.html#hostname=https://fusion.wphstaging.com/ and also there is no cache on server and website,

Here am attaching the video for your clarification.

Hello @daveb123,

In most cases, this is happening because of the heavy caching on your website. Follow the steps below:

  • Clear any caches. An older version of the page could be stored, preventing the builder from loading
  • Test for a plugin conflict as mentioned above.
  • If you’re using a child theme, try switching to the parent theme to see if that makes a difference. The conflict could be in your customizations.
  • If you are using a CDN system, try to disable it temporarily and check the case.

We highly recommend that you switch to the parent theme and see if the issue only occurs when the child theme is active.

Kindly let us know how it goes.

Hello,

We did all the way for solving this problem. We switch the theme to the parent theme, also i checked the website there is no cache plugin have on the website and server also, also we check the if the website enables CDN, there is no CDN enable on the website. on the website the Cornerstone plugin has now only. But still am getting the Error, Please check the attached video for more clarification.

Thank you,

Hi @daveb123,

I can confirm the issue in Easter page, the reason for that is the response for ajax request for /x/ is blank. It could be the existing data of that page is already broken. You can see in this screenshot that some section are non-functional anymore.

Box icons instead of arrows indicating a sub-structures. Viewing the page on the front doesn’t reflect the number of sections in comparison to the builder view as well. This doesn’t happen on other pages nor on new pages, hence, this is specific to the page data in which already broken. Same issue if you duplicate the same faulty page since the broken data is carried too upon duplication.

And with broken data, the preview is not going to execute well causing the internal error, hence, /x/ response became blank.

Would you mind providing your FTP login credentials as well so I could directly check if there is an internal error being logged? I can’t promise any solution, but your last option would be re-creating the broken page.

Thanks!

Hello,

When am checking other pages also i can’t see the same problem, but the error still has. I couldn’t see the Box icon on this page https://fusion.wphstaging.com/x/#/content/29717 But the error still showing on the page https://prnt.sc/rwqu5c. For Checking furthermore, here am attaching the video for reference, and FTP details also.

Can you please investigate more and please help me to solve the issue.

Thank you

Hi @daveb123,

That page without box icons works on my end, please check this

I have reloaded that over and over and always loads correctly.

Thanks for the FTP, I checked and there is no errors being logged, just notices. But I do see javascript error originating from WP core’s jQuery. Could you try re-installing the Wordpress core? And please re-install the theme and cornerstone as well. Maybe the files are corrupted and the installation is intermittent due to FTP requirements in the admin. But that’s just my assumption as it’s my first time seeing that jQuery error. For the meantime, I’ll continue the investigation.

Thanks!

Hi,

Thank you for your reply, I check is there any files are corrupted on the X theme and Cornerstone plugin by downloading new theme and files, But i can’t see any difference from those files, all are same. and am re-install the theme and cornerstone. Can you please check furthermore for this issue.

Thanks!

Hello @daveb123,

The given FTP details is not working for us. We recommend that you re install your WordPress core and then please make sure that all the themes and plugins were up to date. You will need to update it manually or at least check your wp-config.php file and allow updates.
