Gallery media type

The Gallery Media Type is not working, I have latest version of Pro. Here’s what I’m doing to create the gallery per your instructions in docs.

  1. Portfolio>Add New
  2. Select Media Type>Gallery
  3. Add several images
  4. Publish

All images show up as thumbnails on the right hand side in a sidebar, not a gallery.

Yes, thanks for that thread. Unfortunately that’s not the issue here. That thread assumes that following all the steps will result in the desired outcome. What’s happening with me is that I am following all the steps shown in the video on that thread and the gallery is still not displaying.

Aha, I figured out what was wrong. I was using the default Media layout of thumbnail view, and this process requires one to switch to the list view within the Media Library. Weird that would make a difference. Problem solved, thank you so much!
