Font altered after latest update

Hi Charlie - no the new version made no difference I got the wordfence email but unsure which one I should use

I’ve done the last option

Now the user pass combo does not seem to work. Did it force you to change it? Apologies, thank you for your patience.

No fayeco is user did I givee you password

If you just use that and let me know then I will change password

Okay great.
What font is altered / what should it be? Are you using WP Bakery for all pages? You changed the fonts within the last version of X with cornerstone correct?

When I upgraded all the body font and heading font was lost - I looked at changing it back but didn’t so I haven’t changed it at all. It should all be helvetica I think but I would need to check with an old version. I don’t want to go back to a backup s I have added a post and don’t want to lose it.

It was the update to X and cornerstone yesterday that altered all the fonts

and I usually use the backend editor to update

Oddly your font was pointing to Lato. I’ve noted your theme options data and will try to see if there is something wrong on our end. I’ve updated your fonts in the meantime. Were these custom fonts in X 10? Like the Heading and body custom fonts?

I could be wrong - maybe it should have been Lato - I couldn’t remember but it certainly looks better now. Ii think the font on the images was different as well I just set heading and body fonts when I originally set up the site =- but either way the update shouldn’t have changed it - did you just alter it in cornerstone?? I couldn’t figure out how to for that - can you change it to LAto again - or is that what it was showing??

Looking at it again that wasn’t the font I had sorry - Lato is probably correct. Can I change it somewhere or do you need to do that??

I worked out to change body and heading to Lato but it’s still not the same - the blog page list of categories is still not right - it used to be in a list all the same size

Also H3 and H4 that I use on blog posts are different.

Hello @fayeco,

I have checked your font settings and it is working on my end.

The H3 and H4 is using Lato as well:

And before I forget, I saw a broken CSS code.

Please remove these lines:

function x_setup_theme() {

 function x_setup_theme() {

Best Regards.

Not sure where I do the remove this - can’t get into cornerstone globals at all now . And the problem was not taht it doesn’t work - the heading are not the same as they were before the update.

Getting this error
Non-existent changeset UUID.

Managed to get back in but just to be clear the site works but looks different from before the last 2 updates the fonts of the headings and in the list of categories on the blog page are all different - unless I revert to an older version I’m not sure what I had and I don’t really want to do that as I will have the same problem when I update to the latest version - there is a problem in that update - hope you can find it thx

I have managed to change the headings but I can’t see how to set fonts in the menu and on the categories on the blog page - they are still different - thx

Hey @fayeco,

The code can be removed in Cornerstone > Custom CSS:

This broken CSS code potentially adds up to an issue in your site which is why it needs to be remove. As for the font in your menu, you can change it in Cornerstone > Theme Options > Headers > Links. The categories is using the Body and Content font settings which you have set in Cornerstone > Theme Options > Typography.

Cheers.
