Feature Request: Optionally remove Portfolio functionality

+1.

Would like an easy way to disable the portfolio inside admin settings, without having to mess around with code. Just a single switch that will disable it completely and cleanly, plus all related taxonomies etc.

If you’re not using portfolios it just clutters up the admin and unnecessarily appears in the XML site map (bad for SEO) and gets pre-populated in different plugins that look for custom post types.

Hey @thecashbag,

Thanks for updating this thread and for your feedback.
We’ve added this as a feature request so it can be taken into consideration for future development.

Best Regards.

Hey @ruenel

Is this planned for the upcoming Theme Options Reboot cycle? It would be a good time to make this change in that cycle.

Hi @JvP,

We’ve been meaning to do this for a while. I’ll get it in for today’s point release. At this point it’s not really related to the Theme Options reboot anymore as the portfolio will always be tied to the current stacks.
