Essential grid Instagram Stream

Hey,

I’m having trouble showing an Instagram stream with Essential Grid.

This worked fine, now the error message is shown: Instagram reports: Please check the settings.

See attached screenshots.

Can you help me with this?

Hey guys,

Thanks for reporting an issue with Essential Grid. We received other reports on this so this could be a new bug with the Essential Grid plugin or there are changes in Instagram API. I’ll post this in our issue tracker so this will be queued to be reported to the Essential Grid developers.

Same issue here. Moving to Smash Balloon as both ‘The Grid’ and ‘Essential Grid’ suddenly don’t show about 30 client instagram feeds here at Suited.

Hi @bcoplin,

Not yet, this has been reported to our issue tracker, in the meantime, please make sure your Essential Grid is version 2.3.6, and clear your caching features, also, please make sure the Instagram User(s)/Account you’re streaming on Gird is public.

Same issue with all of our Essential Grid IG feeds too.

All of my websites with Essential Grid IG feeds are also impacted.

I noticed this thread from earlier in the yea r which linked to a changelog in Facebook that announced the legacy API would be deactivated at the end of June. Seems likely to be related…

Hi all,
I’ve had the same issue; most instagram feeds that I previously had working are now broken. theme punch has this set of instructions for working with API setup https://www.themepunch.com/faq/instagram-stream-setup-instructions-with-access-token/

Apparently this is a new protocol for API use and Essential Grid 2.3.7 has a field where you can enter the generated token (as per the instructions linked above).

Problem is we’re only getting ESGv2.3.6, which does not offer the option of adding your newly generated API.

Anybody know when we can get this ESGv2.3.7 update?
