Essential Grid Instagram Error 429

I’m using Essential Grid with instagram as the source.
I get hit with “Response code is 429. Body: Error
Please wait a few minutes before you try again.” all the time. Any idea how to fix that?

Thanks for writing in!

Error 429 means “Too Many Requests”. It could be that Instagram is also blocking you.

Please check your grid, limit the number of items and check again.

Ok, I was pulling 12 items, and we are not even live yet just in beta, this is worrisome. Also now I get “Instagram reports: Please check the settings”

FYI, this only happens when I query bu username. Not by tag.

Hello Rima,

Please make sure that you have selected People and inserted the correct username.

I have tested the Essential Grid using my personal Instagram username and it is working on my testing server.

Please let us know how it goes.
