We had a site using your theme but recently needed to upgrade it when the old version of Cornerstone was causing errors.
We were unable to upload plugins or the theme even though the site was showing as ‘validated’. We manually downloaed and uploaded the theme but are unable to upgrade the plugins.
We have even one so far as to purchase a new license, but keep getting the same error:
‘Uh oh, we couldn’t check if this license was valid. Details.’

Hi Miles,
Thank you for writing in, are you referring to that site below? I see that you successfully update the X to version: 7.1.2, with that you can actually update your Cornerstone to the latest version as well. To do this, please navigate to your Plugins panel, Delete and Deactivate your current Cornerstone (version 1.2.4), after deleting your old Cornerstone, X will prompt you this:
Click the click here to install and activate and that will install latest version of Cornerstone on your site.
Remember to clear all your caching features (plugin, server-side, CDN, and browser’s cache) after updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.
