Enable sidebar with categories for WooCommerce shop page with PRO

Hello guys,
I have spent hours now trying to make this work but so far no chance. So I dearly hope you can help.

All I want to achieve is that my WooCommerce shop page (the main archive page showing all products) displays a sidebar on the left in which I can navigate all the product categories as a list. In X this was relatively easy.
In PRO nothing I tried so far yielded the desired result.

Please provide which settings I need to make in PRO and Woo and if I need to add any custom code to make this happen.

Hello Lutz,

Thanks for writing in! By default, the shop index do not have any sidebar. If you are going to customize your shop index, you can go to Cornerstone > Layout Builder and create a custom WC Archive layout. You can insert a Section element with 2 columns and use the left or right column as your sidebar. You can use the Widget Area element which will display the sidebar.
