E&P Form Builder Styles Being Overwritten by X Pro Theme

Hi there,

I created an E&P cost estimator with some nice styling, but when I dropped the short code on my website, the styles were completely wiped out. I’d like the E&P form to appear in a modal, so I used the content area modal element and dropped the code in the content section. Is there something else I should do so the E&P form styles work?

Thanks!

Hello Connor,

Thanks for writing in!

I tried looking at the licence manager page and I inspected both production and staging URLs. I am unable to find out the page wherein Cost Estimation & Payments Forms have been implemented using Content Area Model element. Can you please share the exact page URL so we can take a closer look?

Thanks.

Sure. Since I couldn’t use it on a real page, I put it on a test page for you to take a look.

I’m not sure if you can see this preview, but this is what it’s supposed to look like.

Thanks!

Hi Connor,

Unfortunately, it is not possible to add the form with all the goodies of the styling inside the Modal. The reason for that is that the shortcode itself adds extra layers of styling and Javascript code that it is not possible to be retrieved on a modal view.

You’d better think of a design which the form will be there directly into the page.

Thank you for your understanding.

Unfortunately - the form loses its styles when it’s directly on the page too.

Hi Connor,

Upon checking the code, it appears to be minified, and I can’t find the resources related to form styling. Perhaps, this issue is due to existing optimization like minification and cache. Please make sure to disable them and test it again.

And Christopher’s is still right, it will not work if displayed to the modal. But your provided test page is not within the modal, it’s just that the stylesheets aren’t loaded due to optimization.

Thanks!
