I would like the nav bar to look consistently, site-wide as on the attached image from the tickets page. I made it 100% transparent. I understand that the underlying image has to be the same. Why, for example is it white on the home page, and why does the nave bar lose transparency on other pages? Also, is it possible to add a visible border to the nav bar? I added a 2px border but it is not visible. Thank you
Hello Ami,
Thanks for writing in!
In your homepage, the background image is just using this: https://mozartorchestra.org/wp-content/uploads/mco-light.webp
(it is just displaying a white image) which means that the homepage could be loading a cache version of the page. Please clear your plugin caches or at least temporarily deactivate your W3 Total Cache plugin before testing the site again.
Kindly let us know how it goes.
Rue, I solved most of my nav bar issues. Please look at https://www.israelhayom.com/ HOW can I get the red underline action of the links?
Hello Ami,
To have a red underline the menu items, simply edit your custom header and click the Navigation Inline element. Find the Menu > Top Links > Particles and enable it.
You can adjust the length of the underline by removing the 0.75em
left and right padding of your top links, Menu > Top Links > Design. You can add a left and right margin to create space between the menu items.
To make sure that the red underline is displaying on the current page, please check out the reply of @Rad on this thread:
Hope this makes sense.
Thanks, Rue. You really know your stuff. I guess the animated red underline on the israekhayom.com site requires CSS. Another interesting and simple flair to nav links is here: https://www.frontpagemag.com/ Can the Pro Theme accompish this?
Hey Ami,
Applying an effect for each menu item is only possible with custom CSS and/or JS. Regretfully though, we cannot provide custom development as part of our support.
If you need guidance on that, please consider subscribing to our One Premium Support here: https://theme.co/one
Thank you for understanding.
