Cornerstone Update & NOW problems w/ "Feature List" Element Alignment

Hi There,

Please add the following CSS to Theme Options CSS

.x-feature-list .x-feature-box-content {

    margin-left: 60px;
    margin-top: -50px;

Hope it helps!

where do I go… to do that?

Hi There,

You can access your page via Cornerstone > Click CSS on the left thin and copy and paste the code there.

Or you can hover X on your top admin bar > Theme Options > CSS

Hope it helps!

No luck… I applied the css in… the thin left area…it made the element more out of alignment

btw there is NO area to put in css…when trying to hover over X… in the top area of admin dashboard…

Hi there,

I have done some further checking and the issue is not because of the update but only specific to this page because when I tried to create a draft page with a feature list element on it, the icon and the text are aligning properly (see link in the secure note).

After further checking, it seems to be cause by an incorrect HTML code that is in the slider. You had the code:

Los Angeles<strong>

This caused the page to have some broken layout in some sections. Please make sure that when you have HTML element on a page that they would be properly closed and paired such as <strong>This is a text</strong> and not <strong><strong>This is a text</strong>. I already corrected it and you should be able to see the featured list items aligned correctly. Please clear your cache just in case.

unfortunately the home page got corrected, but all other pages using the same element are still out of alignment…
Also fyi I do still believe it was the upgrade that through everything off…this website and my other sites utilizing the element for the past 2 years never had an issue with element before the upgrade, so it has to be the upgrade which cause all of the out of alignment… which are still there both on the site you looked at and within my other 4 sites…

I Checked all pages in your site and all seems to look fine to me and aligning correctly.

Can you provide us the exact url of the page and screenshot where we can see the issue.

Hi there,

It was the same issue as the previous page where the strong tags are messed up,

I have gone ahead and fixed it.

Kindly double check the page of your site and make sure that they have the correct custom HTML.

Hope this helps.

Please tell Me HOW you fixed it, because I have 3 other sites w exactly the same issue on multiple pages…and on those sites…I did NOT use “strong tags”

also… I do need to know 3 more things please…

  1. Is my site using the original cornerstone Xtheme or… when I updated Xtheme & cornerstone (4 days ago), did it automatically, add or change my site to the PRO version?

  2. where is the ability to add elements inside of a text box, such as the button element …ect…it seems to have disappeared with the updated version

  3. IF the elements options and control of have been removed with the latest update…how do I re-learn…the uses of elements? is there a video online, showing the “HOW TO” for this new cornerstone update?

Thank you very much

Hello Again,

Thanks for the updates. @Jade made sure that all the html code is valid and correct. The unclosed <strong> tag were added to resolve the issue. Always keep in mind that when adding html tag, it must be closed properly. For example:

Lorem <strong>ipsum dolor sit</strong> amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Integer scelerisque eros eu pulvinar dictum. <strong>Nunc egestas massa at</strong> elit bibendum, cursus fringilla nunc faucibus.

In most cases, unclosed tag will result to an issue and can even lead to a broken layout.

1.) Your site is still using X theme and Cornerstone. It is using the latest and updated version of the theme and Cornerstone. To know more what have changed in the theme and Cornerstone since 4 years ago, you can always check out our changelog here:

2.) The old shortcode generator does not work for new elements, and is now hidden by default. This setting will bring it back if you wish to continue using it with old elements. You can turn if “ON” to display the Legacy Shortcode Generator by going to X > Cornerstone.

3.) To get familiar with the new elements, please check out our knowlegde base. We have collated a list of the elements in the page. Please see the Elements - New section in this page:

Hope this helps.

Hello Again,

I have checked your site and I found out that LosAngeles Dominatrix Mistress site is out dated. You are using X 5.1.0. Please have it updated to the latest version which is X 5.2.5. Make sure that every thing is up to date. This latest release contains fixes for several issues so be sure to check out the changelog (

After doing the updates, always remember to clear all caches (if you are using WP Rocket, WP SuperCache or W3 Total Cache) when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.

Please let us know how it goes.

I cant get the updated version…its not allowing Me…

Hello There,

Thanks for updating in!

Is X theme validated? You will have to validate it so that you can connect to the theme update server. If you have already validated it, please make sure that your connection going to the server is not block. To do the update right away, you may use “Manual Update”. You can download the latest copy of the theme right in your dashboard (

For further information how you can do “Manual Updates”, please see this article:

Please let us know how it goes.

I have had an issue with this validation for the past 1 1/2 years…and was told it was fixed…apparently not…it takes the code to verify purchase and then 1-2-3 months later it becomes invalid again…now I cant even visually see where to put the code …its not showing…t

on the original problem…this is day 7 or 8 of trying to resolve the prior issue … Not happy at all… 1-2 days lapses between our message, is creating much wasted time and time away from My business…each time with a new staff …isn’t there a more efficient manner of communicating?

You can’t see where to put code because your theme is already validated.

I went ahead and updated your theme and it went well without any issue
