Cornerstone/ theme options redirect to login page

Hi there

Whenever I try to enter cornerstone and theme options I get redirected to the login page and cannot get anywhere else untill I manually edit the url.

I’ve tried the things I found in this topic: https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/page-keeps-failing-to-save-and-then-logs-me-out/51843 but nothing has helped me.

I will provide you with my login and FTP credidentials in a secure note.

Thank you for the credentials, but the FTP credentials did not work.

This seems to be an SSL related issue though.

As I can see on your WordFence when trying to access the Cornerstone or Theme Options /x/ it is accessed through a non-secure protocol (http://), hence the result of the user being kick out (redirected to login page) of the site.

This tells me that your site was not properly migrated from http to https. And you can confirm that under Settings > Permalinks the WordPress address and Site address are still in http

You can follow the solution provided here on changing your site URL to https

Backup your database first to play it safe and clear your caching features after.

Thanks so much! Seeing as it’s an SSL problem I first checked if de- and then reactivating the ‘really simple ssl’ plugin would help. It did!
