Hey hi,

Hi there,
Before we continue and for clarification, all versions should match together. If not, there will be missing elements and will have inconsistency with the content. Example, when you update your cornerstone to 2.1.7 and created a content, but happens to incompatible so you downgraded it, then the added elements from 2.1.7 are not available to the version you downgraded it to. I suggested to downgrade it to matching older versions so we could test it through those versions but seems you upgraded it again (not matching the theme version), and another staff requested to fix the compatibility issue again and we’re back at it again.
Let’s do this, please clone your site into staging (subdomain or sub-folder). Have the main site uses the older versions where it was working perfectly (please ignore the missing elements since they aren’t available to older versions). Then have your staging uses the latest versions so we could compare the two.
Thanks!
Hi @Rad,
Thanks for explaining the glitch. I cannot use the older version of cornerstone on live site as I have so many things created with new version but now I have one method to add js to homepage ( I have en-queued the js file using function.php file. ) so I will continue with the latest version.
Thanks.
You’re welcome, @EnhancierCx. The issue with the JS not saving is something that does not happen normally. There is something in your setup causing this but this will need deeper troubleshooting. Glad you had another solution and that way, you will never loose your JS because it’s stored in a file.
