Center-aligned title in rev slider starts off-center

Generally, you should not be using !important and adjoin classes. However, that is sometimes necessary to make things work or force a solution to work.

Those are still valid CSS.

How would I override a default value that’s baked into the slider/x theme settings? I only use it when my styling doesn’t work in its own.

Just warnings for using !important to override settings

If it is just a warning then its fine, it won’t affect other CSS blocks.

Is there any reason why when I added that CSS to Theme Options CSS it doesn’t work, but does inside the Custom CSS panel in Slider Rev

Rev Slider’s custom CSS gets the higher priority than the Theme Options’ CSS.

I did check your slider and the title is definitely centered now (see screencast). I even throttle my connection to see if there is a delayed styling issue, but nope, the title position centered right away.

Yeah, as soon as I added it to the slider css, it worked. even !important didn’t prioritize the styling. Interesting. I just normally like to have a single source of truth, and not have orphaned styling hidden behind 3 hidden screens. I’ll just have to make an exception to this rule this time. No worries, and thanks again!
