Anchor ID not working on mobile

Hi @ccwadsworth,

Please test it again  , should be okay now, at least on my view.

Thanks!

Hi, i realize I jumped in on this thread, just confirming that this is a bug and it will be fixed in the next release?

Hello @Rad
I just cleared the cache on my phone to test the updates and now the navigation isn’t working. Nothing opens at all.
In addition we received this notice from WordPress and the site is currently in Recovery Mode:

Hi @ccwadsworth,

Please ignore that error, your site is not on maintenance mode when I installed it, and not even today as I checked it. I did see that error upon installing the cornerstone and it’s only normal especially if someone is accessing your site while updates or installation is ongoing, to put it simply, the files are on read-only while it’s updating or installing hence it can’t be opened nor execute the codes causing the undefined function error.

I did check and I checked it just now and your mobile menu is working on my device. Please try your mobile browser private browsing mode to make sure it’s not a cache, clearing cache just once may not sometimes fix it.

@coloradodesigngroup, yes, the fix will be part of the next update.

Thanks!

Hi @rad
I am unable to test this. As I mentioned before, I am experiencing a new issue, the navigation isn’t working at all. I am unable to access the menu from the hamburger menu.
I did test this in private browser mode.

Oh, and the email from WordPress said the site was in Recovery Mode, not Maintenance Mode, but I was able to login and exit recovery mode.

Thanks for the update!

Hi @ccwadsworth,

Ah, maybe it’s triggered by re-installation, my first time seeing that kind of setup

I’m able to reproduce the issue you’re getting, and it’s due to your Fastest Cache plugin, it serve old files on some mobile. Deactivating that plugin fixes the issue on mobile menu. Please check it again.

Thanks!

Thank you @rad! It is now working properly. What cache plugin would you recommend?

Hello @ccwadsworth,

WP Fastest Cache is among of the top recommend plugin that you can use with the theme. Other users installed W3 Total Cache, WP SuperCache, and HummingBird as well.

Hope this helps.

Thanks @ruenel - however WP Fastest Cache is the plugin that created the issue… I will try one of the others. Thanks for your help.

You’re most welcome!
