Adding cart to product page

I would like to have the cart widget on the product page as shown in the image. However i am not able to add a cart widget there.

Hello Patrick,

Thanks for posting in! By default, all of the product pages is fullwidth. There is no sidebar on the page where you can easily insert the WooCommerce cart widget. You will need to add a sidebar first. Please refer to this thread to know how you can add a sidebar to your product pages:

I have created the side bar successfully.

However, I would like the product page to have a sidebar that contains cart only AND the shop page to have a sidebar that contains recently viewed items and cart

Hi Patrick,

I think that would need a 3rd party plugin such as this https://wordpress.org/plugins/widget-logic/, then the condition needed is is_product() for widget that contains cart and is_shop() widget that contains viewed items.
