What's the difference between the free Table Element and Data Tables?

The free Table Element, included with Cornerstone, lets you build and fully style static tables. Data Tables is the paid upgrade that adds the interactive, data-driven layer — sorting, search, filters, and pagination, plus the ability to pull rows from a CSV, JSON, custom post types, or an external API.

Is Data Tables included with Max?

Yes! If you're subscribed to Pro Max or Max Unlimited, you'll receive access to Data Tables. Otherwise, you can purchase the plugin directly with lifetime updates and unlimited use.

Where can my table data come from?

Wherever your content already lives: paste it in as text, upload a CSV or JSON file, pull from WordPress custom post types, or connect a live external API. You can even merge several sources into a single table.

Will it stay fast with thousands of rows?

Yes. Pagination and on-demand AJAX loading keep each view light, and the header stays locked while you scroll, so tables with tens of thousands of rows stay smooth and responsive.

How do the tables look on mobile?

Every table is responsive out of the box. On smaller screens, columns can optionally reflow into clean, stacked cards so nothing gets cut off or lost in a sideways scroll.

Can I style it to match my site?

Completely. Every header, row, cell, border, and label is styled with the full power of Cornerstone. Start from a preset or design it from scratch, no custom CSS required.

What does the license include?
