Just purchased theme. How would I resolve the problem with the zip file being too big to install?
September 3, 2014 at 5:03 am #97450Hey Rinko,
That is because of server upload limitation by your web host. You may contact them to increase it for you or you can try the solutions outlined at http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-increase-the-maximum-file-upload-size-in-wordpress/
Hope that helps. 🙂

September 4, 2014 at 5:28 am #98269So I had my php.ini changed to maximise to 250 mb but still couldn’t upload. What could be the problem?
September 4, 2014 at 5:33 am #98271Hi there,
Do you confirm that you did that correctly? As many of shared hosting does not allow to change those options by clients and you need to contact them to make sure it is actually changed.
Thank you.
September 4, 2014 at 6:06 am #98288My host did that for me. They couldn’t understand why I still couldn’t upload. They now in my wp admin trying to see what may be causing the issue. Is this a common problem problem?
September 4, 2014 at 6:13 am #98291Hi Rinko,
I think your host needs to restart apache for the changes to take effect.
Thanks.
September 4, 2014 at 6:44 am #98306Thanks support. It is now installed thru uploading it thru host cpanel. Talk about girl power! A young girl technician fixed my problem in 2 minutes without any php blah blah and apache blah blah.
