Hi – When I try to embed a YouTube video in Revolution Slider, I get this URL, instead of any video I try to embed: https://youtube.com/devicesupport.
Vimeo and HTML 5 videos work fine.
My site is tobermoryhideaway.ca, WP version 4.2.2, Shortcodes version 3.0.5, (Sorry – I can’t find X theme version).
Thanks!

Thank you for writing in! This is an issue on Revslider, from what I read you need to update your Revslider to v4.6.93
Hope it helps, Cheers!
May 30, 2015 at 2:37 pm #286939I looked and found that the only way to update Revolution Slider manually is to transfer the files from the new version to overwrite the old ones. But the only way to access the new files is to buy a license. Is there another way?
If I update to the latest version of X, will the Revolution Slider be updated as well? If so, then that is the solution I will choose. I am getting help with an automatic update error for X in another support thread. Will that solution will take care of this problem as well?
Thanks.
May 31, 2015 at 3:20 am #287421Hello There,
You do not have to buy a new license for the Revolution slider. It is already bundled in the theme. Can you confirm that you are fully updated? (Theme and Plugins)
Our latest versions are:
X theme: 4.0
VC: 4.5.2
Revolution slider: 4.6.93You can find the latest version numbers here: (http://theme.co/x/member/changelog/) Then you can compare them to what’s installed on your site. If you find anything to be out of date, you can review our update guide.
Once your X theme is already updated, you can download the latest Revolution slider here: http://tobermoryhideaway.ca/wp-content/themes/x/framework/plugins/revslider.zip
Thank you.
August 24, 2015 at 8:54 pm #368213Same problem for me and I have 4.6.93!
Been trying for a week. A couple of sliders I made 2 weeks ago still work. But any sliders I try to make now, will find the youtube video, looks like everything is fine, but shortcode embedded on page only shows an error. VERY FRUSTRATING!
August 25, 2015 at 12:36 am #368396Hi there,
Is http://fuccle.com/test1/ your site URL?
Before we continue, we need you to update X and Visual Composer, install Cornerstone from X Addons -> Extensions and disable X shortcodes plugin, as this could fix the issue.
Hope it helps.
