Hi! I have a bunch of video playlists in posts that I am trying to covert over to the new template. I have a plugin that works but seem to display funny. My question is multiple parts. I want to share videos with consumers and they are set up now in YouTube playlists. I need to show not just the video player but some thumbnails of additional video so consumers can surf through the playlist. When I copy this over to the front end editor it does save but doesn’t show the player till it is saved. I am wondering if there just isn’t an easier way?
I bought this template thinking one of the gallery or portfolio plugins would work. I saw a demo where I clicked a video thumbnail and a video box opened up and jumped up on the screen like an image would in a light box. That is what I really want is for consumers to see a bunch of thumbnails and be able to click one and watch the video. Can’t seem to find that demo now.
Can you direct me to the solution?

Thanks for writing in! Unfortunately, we do not support 3rd party plugins or script. But the Essential Grid works well with a video gallery.

You can install Essential Grid under Addons > Extensions.

Essential grid doesn’t seem like it does much for videos. In fact that is the worse quality video I have seen in a long time. I appreciate the attempt to help but that doesn’t really help at all. When I bought this theme I was under the understanding that I could create a grid of video thumbnails and then click on then to open a light box. I think that is the Envira gallery but that doesn’t look free or the plugin is a free version that requires an update. Am I going to discover that all the included plugins are free starters just like every plugin in WordPress?
