Hello,
I read through the form to find out why my front page was not saving when editing it through cornerstone. I disabled all the plugins as mentioned to find out that the “WordPress SEO” by yoast was preventing the front page from saving. So now every time I edit it, I need to deactivate yoast, make my changes and then reactivate it.
The problem is that i’m confident with that plugin being around so long, and your theme support being so excellent that we can figure out how or where this conflict could be.
Any suggestions on if there can be anything done to resolve this as I couldn’t find any known issues on it.
Thank you
October 18, 2015 at 10:11 am #630026Hi there,
Thanks for writing in! We never noticed or notified by any user about such conflict with SEO by YOAST plugin.
Can you confirm that you are fully updated? (Theme and Plugins)
You can find the latest version numbers here: (http://theme.co/changelog/) Then you can compare them to what’s installed on your site.
If you find anything to be out of date, you can review our update guide.
If you see the plugin and Cornerstone is updated, then please re-install Cornerstone and SEO by YOAST.
If the issue still persist, provide us your login credentials in a private reply.
Cheers!
October 18, 2015 at 11:10 am #630064Everything is up to date but verified it anyways, it was a fresh install I had done this weekend and only noticed it after deactivating and reactivating the plugins one at a time. I’ll go ahead and reinstall both and confirm.

October 18, 2015 at 8:40 pm #630445Hello,
I reinstalled yoast and that didn’t help at all. I can’t seem to uninstall cornerstone though as the plugin manager wasn’t letting me – i assume this is part of the requirement to have it render.. is there anything you would suggest next I try?
October 19, 2015 at 12:04 am #630562Hi there,
Thanks for updating! You can remove the plugin from FTP or cPanel File Manager. To remove Cornerstone plugin, go to the directory wp-content/plugins and remove cornerstone folder.
Then install it again from X Addons > Extensions.
If the issue still persist, would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password
– FTP credentialsDon’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.
