i have yoast SEO running and I am having an issue with the snippet. It automatically puts ‘Archive’ into the snippet title. I searched through these forums and found: https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/remove-archive-from-product-category-page/
which removed ‘archive’ from category / tag titles, but how can I remove the ‘archive’ from the snippet? Here is an example of what i am talking about:
Adventure Archives – Tourverse
tourverse.com/product-tag/adventure/
Please provide a meta description by editing the snippet below.Adventure is the category, but it adds ‘archives’ to it.
my site is tourverse.com.
Thanks for any help you can provide.

Thanks for posting in.
I like to check it, but I can’t promise a fix. Though if I find something then maybe I can recommend some quick change.
Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / passwordDon’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.
For the meantime, please consult it to SEO Yoast documentation or author. This feature is not related to X theme 🙂
Thanks!

Thanks for the login credentials!
You can remove/replace the “Archive” text from your product category title under Taxonomies > Product Categories > Title template in Yoast SEO settings (see: http://prntscr.com/ajpy9r).
Thank you!
