    Hi Themeco,

Awesome to see CS has hit the mainstream… traffic seems to be immense as CS website was a just a tiny bit slow – its all good and worth the wait 🙂

Just downloaded X v4.4.1 from TF and had a real quick q regarding The Grid… see they have also released an update today to v1.5.0 and promoting CS compatibility. The current X bundled version from TF is v1.4.0.

Any plans to release a bump on TF with the latest version of The Grid – or was I too quick off mark downloading from TF and its already done!

    Cheers.

    Hi Strobley,

    Thanks for writing in!

The Grid v1.4.0 version added full compatibility with Cornerstone. The have released a new update v1.5.0, but currently, its bundled version with X theme is v1.4.0. We normally update our bundled plugins on theme releases. But it is not every time because we take time to test for X compatibility.

    Thanks!

Hey again, totally and absolutely appreciate the need for compatibility testing.

The reason I raised is The Grid team say in the release notes for 1.5.0

    “IMPORTANT CHANGES FOR DEVELOPERS:
    – The Grid API was completely rebuild for performance reason and flexibility
The methods to create new skins have changed. Please refer to the developer guide in order to update your skins: http://theme-one.com/docs/the-grid/#!/developer_guide”

Having the latest version may save us new X users doubling our efforts – so thought to ask as there as minor fixes currently being release if this could added maybe save our efforts. 🙂

    Thanks again!

Thanks Zeshan, just to add Rev Slider in the same boat.. new bugfix update released today – v5.2.4

If there any more bugfix release for X4.4 over the next few days it would be awesome to get latest version of The Grid and Rev Slider too – depending on what the Developers say of course 🙂

Thanks Rad, appreciate you looking to.

Apologies to mention again, I’ve just noticed on the The Grid Release Notes section on TF more info relating the new 1.5.0 version. In the list it includes fixes to these 2 specific points which seem very relevant to X and CS.

    – Fixed an issue with new Cornerstone API
    – Fixed an issue with ajax cart button (Woocommerce)

As you can see, the first point relates directly to CS and the second – well as you know X includes the lovely ajax add to cart feature 🙂

Please do follow this up with the Developers.

    Thanks again.

    Hey Rad,

Thanks again for passing on to Devs. I noticed a new CS update (1.2.3) was released and pending approval at CC – https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/cornerstone-launch-party-thread/#post-870178

What does this mean for X users on TF as the post above is not clear and the Change Log: http://theme.co/changelog/ only makes reference to CC users who purchased the standalone plugin – no mention X users.

Understand CS is likely to available via X automatic updates, however I still prefer the manual control.

Will X users be getting the CS update on TF and have you had any news if X update will also include latest updates for Extensions:

    – Rev Slider 5.2.4
    – The Grid 1.5.0
    – ConvertPlug 2.2.0

    Thanks again.

    Hi there,

Users have to wait for Themeforest approval, and it will be available only upon approval. You can’t do manual update without TF update.

But it should be available from automatic updates since it’s directly pulled from our server.

According to the changelog, http://theme.co/changelog/, the update is only for the cornerstone. Extension’s updates are usually provide with theme updates and not with cornerstone.

    Thanks!

    Hi Rad,

See the update is out 🙂 Is there are reason that The Grid update to v1.5.0 has not been included given that v1.5.0 contains fixes mentioned earlier which relating to X and CS:

    – Fixed an issue with new Cornerstone API
    – Fixed an issue with ajax cart button (Woocommerce)

Also see the Rev Slider is up to 5.2.5

    Cheers.

    Hi there,

Thanks for updating. You can check the Version Compatibility page more information about the compatible version of each integrated/approved plugin.

I’ve just downloaded X 4.4.2 from TF and the bundled version is still The Grid 1.4.0 which contradicts the Version Compatibility https://community.theme.co/kb/version-compatibility/ page you provided which states The Grid 1.5.0 is bundled with X 4.4.2.

Can the X release on TF be updated to match the Version Compatibility page version which also resolves the X / CS issues noted in the this thread.

    Many thanks.

    Hi there,

It’s just a list of compatible plugins, but it doesn’t mean that they are bundled with current theme’s version as well. You can check what’s been updated through our Changelog here https://theme.co/changelog/

There is no note about the The grid update.

Stay tuned with 1.5.0 and I’ll forward this issue as well.

    Thanks!

    Hi Rad,

Sure, its just that the title of the section in on Version Compatibility page is ‘Bundled Third Party Plugins’. This does clearly suggest that these are the bundled versions of extensions with the current release of X.

    Cheers.
