Hi there, here’s my situation:
– Purchased, validated (as localhost) and installed the X theme on my machine (using WAMP).
– Did a migrate using Duplicator to http://www.ledgedwellerthemovie.com.
– In my Themeco account, successfully changed the URL associated with the license to above website.

Now when I try to update to a new release on my server, I am told to validate X and when I click on that, I am told to enter an API key, but when I go to the Manage Licenses page on My Account in Themeco, I see the following message:

“Looking for API keys? We’ve removed these in favor of just using the purchase code directly. For new site validations, you can use your purchase code directly. Sites previously validated with an API key, will remain validated, but moving forward API keys will no longer be used.”

Please help! I’m going around in circles and getting dizzy.

Thanks for writing in! I think the message clear the issue. You can just directly use the purchase key to validate your site.
