    Hi there,

    I notice that X theme has an update. I just want to check that I can update the theme without it affecting my site. I have not used a child theme but have just edited the existing template to create my site. Could somebody confirm whether or not I am ok to go ahead with the update please?

    Hi James,

    Thanks for writing in! We always recommend to take a full backup of the site before performing any update so that you could restore the site if any major issue occurs. However it’s a better approach to use a staging site (same as your live site) to perform updates. If any issue arise, you can solve this and then proceed with the live site.
