Hello,
I’m having a hard time editing css because of the way it’s displaying. This started when I updated to the latest version. It cuts off everything to left in my window so I can’t see all the code. See attached and please advise.
Thanks.

Thank you for providing the credentials, You’ve not updated the X theme and Cornerstone plugin, please update your theme and plugins to the latest version. You can find the latest version numbers here: (http://theme.co/changelog/) Then you can compare them to what’s installed on your site.
If you find anything to be out of date, you can review our update guide.
Let us know how this goes!
September 7, 2016 at 2:23 pm #1164977Hello,
You didn’t answer my question. I’m still not clear on why i can’t automatically update the theme, especially since that’s what you recommend and it would be easier. Everything is validated. Is it because it’s registered to the beta site on wp-engine?
See above.
Thanks,

Please do the following:
1] Please go to X Addons > Home and revoke the validation.
2] Please login to your account and revoke the license. https://community.theme.co/my-account/
3] After you have revoke the license, you need to re assign the license again to your site using this url: https://www.your-domain.com/. You have to make sure that url you just assign is the same as the one you have in your settings, Settings > General > Site Address
4] Go back to X Addons > Home again, and insert the license again.Let us know how it goes.
September 23, 2016 at 3:07 pm #1188299Was able to update the theme. I absolutely hate the way the Custom CSS editor works, I can’t see the code well and it cuts it off.
Never got a response to this inquiry.
Also hate the way I’m not notified when you respond, I forget that I’ve asked you a question and find it unituitive where the info resides on your site.
September 23, 2016 at 3:22 pm #1188312Hi There,
Alternatively you can do your edits on style.css of your child theme or a text editor and paste on Customizer.
If you pay attention you will find a little expanding box on the Corner of The Custom CSS Customizer so you can see the full code.
If you want to get notified you need to subscribe to the post. you can do that on the top right of the thread by clicking on the word “Subscribe”
Let us know if you have further questions,
Joao
December 2, 2016 at 2:23 pm #1279144I do expand the box, but it cuts off the left, so I don’t know what the selector is.
December 2, 2016 at 2:27 pm #1279147This is expanded view in Child theme “customize”. Do you see how I can tell what the selector is? I think your developers need to work on the css of this portion of the theme! It makes it very difficult and frustrating to edit.
December 2, 2016 at 7:28 pm #1279448Hi There,
I have seen this issue before and its a plugin conflict. Do a testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
I did check your customizer though and I can not replicate the issue.

Had you already resolve it?
Thanks.
