Hi i’ve completely made a website and i dont have a child theme installed. Is it worth creating one and how would i go about it ?

I have also created a Google Adsense account and wondered how i would be able to enter a sidebar on my blog page only to show adverts.

thank you il take a look. how about the google adsense. i was wondering how to setup a sidebar on my blog page only as space for these but was unsure where to begin?
