billium99ParticipantHello – if you go to this page:
and view source, you will see two H1’s. The Site title and the page title.
Why would this be the case and what do I do to remove this line completely:
<h1 class=”visually-hidden”>Page Title</h1>
Thanks
Bill

ThaiModeratorHey Bill,
Please copy _brand.php located in wp-content\themes\x\framework\views\global to the same directory in your child theme wp-content\themes\x-child\framework\views\global. Open the copied file and delete the line
<?php echo '<h1 class="visually-hidden">' . $site_name . '</h1>'; ?>Hope that helps. 🙂

billium99ParticipantHey are you guys going to fix this in the main theme? Is this in the plan? I have several other sites reporting this same problem with X theme generating a second H1 tag and thereby creating two at page load.
Any suggestions for the more permanent way to avoid this?
Thanks

RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for your feedback. I believe that was done intentionally on purpose. I will forward this to our developer and they will assess what’s best.
Thanks!
