Hello 🙂

No matter what I do I can’t get the shortcode for icon lists to work. When I insert it into the text nothing appears except for the text that should go next to the icon. The normal list dots are so boring so I really need this to work, any idea how? http://www.tredagarpottraning.se/

Hi again,

I installed Cornerstone and now I can at least insert an icon. HOwever, right before the icon I choose a dot appears that shouldn’t be there and that I can’t see in the code…Please have a look here http://www.tredagarpottraning.se/

Can the dot be removed?

Hi there,

Thanks for writing in! I see that you have updated to the latest version of X theme. First make sure that you have disabled X-Shortcodes plugin and activate our newly introduced Cornerstone plugin which has X-shortcodes functionality integrated.

All our Shortcodes has now “x_” predefine keyword added.

Example:
[x_icon_list][x_icon_list_item type="adjust"]My List Item 1[/x_icon_list_item][x_icon_list_item type="apple"]My List Item 2[/x_icon_list_item][/x_icon_list]

Finally before testing, make sure to purge all your cache if you have a caching plugin and also make sure to clear your browser cache.

Sorry to say but it didnt help..I tried all of the above and the dot is still always present when I place shortcode icons in my text, no matter which icon it is. What can I do?

Hi there,

Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

I added a new page called ‘X support’ and added icon list element in there, the icons display fine, please check the page.

Your code is not correct so it doesn’t display icons, the right fomat would be :

[x_icon_list][x_icon_list_item type="adjust"]My List Item 1[/x_icon_list_item][x_icon_list_item type="apple"]My List Item 2[/x_icon_list_item][/x_icon_list]
