RedHeartApparelParticipantHi,
I created a new form through X-Addons > Email Forms and set it to re-direct to a confirmation page. However, it will only redirect to my home page after the information is entered. I tried to change the setting to display a message (instead of redirect) and it changed nothing – only redirected to my homepage again. After this I attempted to change the settings through the forms in mailchimp.com (just in case) and nothing changed.
Please help!

DarshanaModeratorHi there,
Thanks for writing in! Are you using any redirection plugins or .htaccess redirects? if so, please disable them and see first.
Please go through our setup guide here (https://community.theme.co/kb/extension-email-forms/). Also make sure to use the latest version of Email Extension (https://community.theme.co/kb/version-compatibility/).
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks!February 8, 2017 at 3:12 pm #1363365
RedHeartApparelParticipantHi,
I was really looking for some more assistance here than a link to the setup guide (as it’s already setup, just not functioning properly) – kind of disappointing response from you guys.
I am using the latest version (which I included this info in my first post), and no, I’m not using any redirection plugins or .htaccess redirects.
I really hope you can help here as I’m out of troubleshooting ideas and desperately need to get this up and running!
Thanks,

RadModeratorHi there,
To be clear, you just wish to disable redirect, right? I went ahead and disabled the redirect and added a sample message. And it works.
Or maybe my understanding is incorrect, but one thing for sure, the redirect will only happen after inputting information and submit it. Are you trying to redirect it even before inputting the information?
Thanks.

RedHeartApparelParticipantGood news – at least the message is working now…well for you anyways!
Bad news – message is not updating from the sample on you did…and No, I did not want to disable redirect. After they input the information and submit it, (instead of the message) it should redirect to the following page:
If we can’t get that setup, I can do a message instead of the redirect, but I’ve tried changing the sample message – and it will not update to my message…only yours.
Worst case scenario, can we at least change the sample message to:
Thanks! Make sure to check your email to confirm & then $100 saving will be on its way to you!
Thank you!

RedHeartApparelParticipantI forgot to mention: I’m not able to make any of these changes on my side. It will look as though I’ve changed the message OR set it to redirect, but nothing will update on the live side.
Any idea what is going on here?

RadModeratorHi there,
All of that, message or redirects works on my end. And I can edit and save them perfectly fine. Please try other browser or device, maybe there something blocking request from your browser/device to your site.
Thanks.
